Early Intervention Support for children aged 5-9
What is early intervention?
Our Early Intervention program provides specialised support tailored for young children with developmental delays or additional needs, aligning with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) objectives. By engaging with children at an early stage, we aim to significantly reduce the impact of physical, speech, intellectual, and behavioural developmental difficulties. Early intervention under the NDIS framework is designed to deliver targeted support and intervention within children's natural environments and daily interactions, helping to maximise their developmental outcomes and participation in everyday activities.
Our specialised early childhood teachers, equipped with extensive expertise in working with children with special needs, act as key workers within your child's own multidisciplinary therapy team. We coordinate closely with you and your child's allied health therapists every 8-12 weeks to develop a holistic, individualised home therapy program. This program integrates your child's NDIS goals with therapeutic objectives into a fun and engaging home-based program that will be delivered by our trained therapy assistants on a weekly basis.
Our home-based therapy program includes:
In-home consultations conducted by our early childhood teachers to evaluate your child's progress every 12 weeks.
Ongoing collaboration with your child’s allied health providers.
A tailored, home-based therapy program delivered weekly by our trained multidisciplinary therapy assistants.
Our therapy assistants reinforce and expand upon skills addressed in all allied health therapy sessions.
Supervision and regular revision of our home therapy program provided by our specialised Early Childhood Teachers
Continuous feedback for parents to ensure you are equipped to actively support and enhance your child’s developmental progress to meet their NDIS goals.
During our 8-12 week consultations, we conduct comprehensive evaluations with you and your child to assess the developmental progress and needs of your child. This allows us to continue designing and refining a customised program that incorporates evidence-based strategies, while working closely with your child's therapy team to meet your child's NDIS goals. Addressing developmental delays and latent skills in a multidisciplinary model, ensures that each child receives comprehensive support from all stakeholders.
